In 2016 I was in my office at work and suddenly I began losing my vision and strength of the whole left side of my body. Before I knew it I was rushed to hospital whereby they found I was having a stroke.
At 24 years old it's not something you really ever think about having so for it to happen to me at the time was quite a shock.
Since then I have been on a journey to get my life back to where it once was. A year and a half later I believe I can finally say that has happened.
My stroke is a part of my journey in life now and it will not be something that will control me but rather I will control it. I am doing this for the Stroke Foundation because I want to show others in a similar situation what the possibilities are through recovery and to also support those who may not necessarily get a chance to run again.
So this page is for all the people who have experienced stroke at some point in there life and the families that it also affected.
Help me help them by supporting my page and giving back to a great cause that works day in and day out for those who need it.
